Code Violations and Hazards found in Williamson, NY
Challenge
Upon the request of the customer we went to inspect the electric for their house as well as their barn. Our salesman informed the customer of several code violations, but more importantly, hazards that could pose a possible fire in their home. With the homeowner approval we were able to explain thoroughly what needed to be done to make their electric system safe, and remove any code violations.
Solution
We were able to update this customers electric service and remove code violations with a new 200 amp, 40 space electric panel, removing any old fuse type breakers. We also installed a new service line with all updated wire and secured to the exterior of the house. Lastly, we installed a new pipe riser and feed to their barn, removing it from the rooftop and avoiding the dangers of this issue. The house is now free of code violations and safe once again. The customer stated they were very happy with the job that Marlock Electric did and she would be calling again if she needed any additional electric work done.
