Community Service provided at The Laurel House
On October 13th, 2018 several of our dedicated employees along with owner Mark Lockwood took the day to do some electrical updating at The Laurel House in Newark, NY.
The Laurel House provides no cost, end-of-life care in a loving, supportive environment for Wayne County residents. The facility will include two bedrooms, a kitchen, living room, mediation room, laundry and will include a bedroom and bath for resident's families along with a conference room to hold meetings and training.
The facility is scheduled to open on November 1st, 2018.
Our devoted employees felt this was an opportunity to give back to the community at large that calls on them daily for numerous electrical projects. The owner of Marlock Electric, Inc. Mark Lockwood headed up this project. The employees that gave of their time as well were Project Manager, James DeTaeye, Marketing Manager, Gina Johncox, Project Estimator, Shawn Burditt, and electricians Justin Wheat and Abe Quniones.
They were able to perform miscellaneous tasks bringing the electric up to par and offering assistance to the current electrician on site doing this community service project with the fine personnel at The Laurel House.
Mr. Lockwood also provided ceiling fixtures including fan/lights for some of the rooms and table lamps for the residents bedsides.
We are proud of the gift of each and every one of these employees time and talents.
