This customer contact our office while having other work completed at her house to upgrade her electric service as the outdated panel was more than ready for replacement. As the house was requiring new electric lines the panel was beginning to overload due to the age of the box and the need for upgraded appliances and other household items requiring dedicated circuits. The panel change also required a new exterior meter change. The exterior meter lines were corroded and falling off the house.

Here the service has been replaced with new wiring and security fastened to the house after a siding "face lift" was completed.
This will be a much safer bet to keeping the power on during outages in the cold upstate New York winter.
